Does Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On" refer to The Lord of the Rings, or am I crazy? Ramble On is the seventh song of Led Zeppelin II and the third song on side two of the same album. It features some strange instruments and is certainly an acoustic number. The song itself is about the medieval traveler often featured in folklore. The two references to Tolkien are only present because Plant happened to be fan of them.
Ramble on And now's the time the time is now To sing my song I'm going 'round the world I got to find my girl, on my way I've been this way ten years to the day, Ramble on Gotta find the queen of all my dreams Gonna ramble on, sing my song Gotta keep-a-searchin' for my baby Gonna work my way, round the world I can't stop this feelin' in my heart
